I moved from Chiaravalle to arrive to Fiorenzuola, a city only few km from Piacenza.
Fiorenzuola was founded by Romans and it was a resting place along Via Emilia.
The main curch is is Collegiata San Fiorenzo, that is in the center of the city. The Collegiata was build in the XIV centruty although the current curch is a result of a recontraction that took place in the last decades of the XV century.
The curch took the name thanks to S. Fiorenzo of Tours, bishop of Grande, who healed the daughter of the lord and that later became the saint of the city.
Around the curch there are some small and pittoresque streets, like Vicolo of Templars.
With love
Sigyn
