today I visited the castle and the small villagge of Montechiarugolo.
The castle was built by Guido Torelli during the XV century and it was build on a old structure.
The castle is famous even for the story of Fata Bema a beautiful lady that arrived in the village the 1593. Pio Farnese fell in love with her, but she refused her because she knew that their love would have been impossible.
The 19th of May 1612 Pio Torelli was beheaded and she took refuge into the wood to help pople until she died.
The 19th of May of every year Fata Bema come back to cry for his love. Will she find him a day?
