today I went to Spettine, a wonderful and abandoned castle in Val Trebbia.
There aren't a lot of news about this small fortess, but the fortess was propriety of the family Da Spettine from which it takes its name.
The fortress was besied during April 1140 by earl Giovanni Anguissola.
In this fortress there are 2 prisons: one is considered the famales one, just because there is a wc. I think that a lot of poor women were tortured here because of the copper wire you can find there.
