I discovered a small village near river Enza.
During the IX century was build a castle because of the strategical position of the village near a river and in the Pianura. Even if the castle was destroied and rebuilt many times, it remains the most important historic core of the entire municipality.
Of the ancient castle is still visible the drawbridge with two different steps, one for people and the other for wagons. The fortress, severely damaged during the Spanish succession war, was rebuilt during the XVIII century and it became a luxury noble house.
